About The Company
Uranium Corporation of India Limited (UCIL) is a Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) under the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) with a special standing at the forefront of the Nuclear Power cycle. Fulfilling the requirement of uranium for the Pressurized Heavy Water Reactors. UCIL plays a very significant role in the nuclear power generation of the country. UCIL is an ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015 & IS 18001:2007 company and has adopted modern technologies for its mines and process plants. The Company operates six underground Uranium mines (Bagjata, Jaduguda, Bhatin, Narwapahar, Turamdih, and Mohuldih) and one open-pit mine (Banduhurang) in the State of Jharkhand. Ore produced from these mines is processed in two process plants located at Jaduguda and Turamdih. UCIL is also operating one underground Uranium mine and process plant at Tummalapalle in Andhra Pradesh. The Company has taken up the expansion of some of its operations in Jharkhand and started pre-project activities to set up new mines and plants in different parts of the country.

UCIL Recruitment of Trainee 2026 – Application Fee
- General (UR) / EWS / OBC (NCL): Rs. 500/-

Application Fees once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances, and no correspondence shall be entertained in this regard.
UCIL Recruitment of Trainee 2026 – Pay & Allowances
- Candidates joining as Graduate Operational Trainee (GOT) will undergo training for a period of 02 (Two) years.
- During the first year of the training period, they will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs. 29,990/-. The monthly stipend shall be revised to Rs. 30,890/- plus prevailing DA thereon during the 2nd year of training.
- Upon successful completion of training, they will be absorbed as ‘Scientific Assistant – A ’ at ‘Tradesman-E’ grade
- Salary: Rs. 29,990/- – 46,720/-.
- During the training period, the Trainees (GOTs) will be provided with company subsidized residential accommodation (subject to availability) and medical facility (for self only) in addition to a monthly stipend.
- Selected candidates, after absorption in regular posts, shall be entitled to Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance, Common Allowance, PF, Gratuity, inter-alia subsidized accommodation, medical facilities, children’s education facility, etc., as per the company’s extant policies/Rules.
- Candidates upon their selection as ‘Trainee’ shall be required to execute a bond at the time of joining to serve the company for a period of 04(four) years after completion of the training period.
Relaxation & concessions available for Internal (Departmental) candidates of UCIL
- Internal (departmental) candidate is one who is an employee of UCIL working in the ‘regular scale of pay’ as on the last date of receipt of applications and is applying for a new position. Internal (departmental) candidates must fulfil the minimum educational and experience criteria (if applicable) of the post they are applying for.
- Internal candidates of UCIL are exempt from payment of application fees.
- There is no Age limit for internal (departmental) candidates of UCIL.
Selection Process
- Written Test / Trade Test / Personal Interview.
- Mere fulfillment of eligibility criteria does not confer any right in respect of the Written Test/ Trade Test/Personal Interview/ Final Selection, as applicable.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for Written Test/ Trade Test/ Personal Interview, as applicable.
- Verification of original certificates with regard to Age, Educational Qualifications, Category/OBC(NCL)/EWS/PwBD status (as applicable) and other documents as asked for will be done only at the time of Written Test /Trade Test/ Personal Interview, as applicable.
- UCIL reserves the right to cancel/restrict/enlarge/modify the Recruitment/Selection process, if need so arises, without assigning any reason. No correspondence/claim shall be entertained in this regard.
